Starting today, the Walt Disney Studios, Disney Citizenship, and XPRIZE announced a nationwide challenge for innovators inspired by Disney's upcoming film TOMORROWLAND. XPRIZE invites kids to imagine themselves in the future and report back through video, and stories.
In June, six winners will have a once–in-a-lifetime mentorship experience with a leader in their area of interest. In addition, each winner will receive a $3,000 check, a 3D Printer from 3D Systems, and registration for FIRST® LEGO® League for the competition season 2015-2016 in the U.S.
Official Rules and details about the Challenge are available at http://XPRIZEchallenge.org/CreateTomorrowland. Official registration and submission period starts April 22, 2015, and runs through May 17, 2015.
Disney has released its third trailer for TOMORROWLAND, and this trailer is jam packed with action. It is also the first time we have been teased that the film will be shown in IMAX. Additionally, a special presentation of the film, featuring more than six minutes of footage to be introduced by director Brad Bird, will screen exclusively in IMAX theatres domestically and in select international markets beginning May 1. The extended first look of Tomorrowland will screen directly prior to Marvel’s AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON and will play for the duration of that film’s run in IMAX.
TOMORROWLAND lands in theaters May 22, 2015.
George Clooney, producer/writer Damon Lindelof, and director Brad Bird talk about Walt Disney's vision for the future in this TOMORROWLAND featurette. We also get four new posters from the main characters in the film.

Tons of toys were on display during Star Wars Celebration but we were clued in on one that caught our attention: The Force Trainer II Hologram Experience. This toy from Star Wars Science and Uncle Milton, actually harnesses your brain waves to simulate the feelings of the Force.
With Yoda as your guide, you earn your keep from inexperienced Padawan to Jedi Master. How exactly does this work? To be honest, we're not entirely certain and we suspect that the actual science behind it is very technical and perhaps not all that interesting.
So from game player's perspective... you're using the Force to change things with your mind! CRAZY!byPublished on 04-19-2015 01:30 PM
