This idea seemed kinda cool, and could be really awesome if it is used right:

Re: Cantilevered Roller Coaster
That would be really cool for Space Mnt,it would feel like the Rockets are actually flying.

Re: Cantilevered Roller Coaster
But imagine the room it would take. However I can see a ride like this indoors with a mock floor beneath the car but above the track.

Re: Cantilevered Roller Coaster
I agree with skully.I think it would take up too much room for any dlr park to use.Neat idea though.

Re: Cantilevered Roller Coaster
Meh. Sounds like just another crazy coaster idea that won't go anywhere to me.
Also, and this is just my opinion, but I don't think it looks like it'll offer much extra in the way of thrills, but it'll probably end up costing way more anyway.-YellowMan: The Fresh Maker!
"All my regrets in the end will be clothing." -Jerry Seinfeld
NOTE TO READERS: YellowMan has been known to joke around from time to time. Please don't take some posts by him to their full, literal meaning. Doing so will most likely end in one of the following: making a fool of YellowMan, making a fool of yourself, making a fool of Ronald Reagan, drymouth, or in rare cases, death. Thank you and enjoy your stay.

Re: Cantilevered Roller Coaster
I dont think that it will provide anymore coaster thrills, but I kinda see it more for dark ride purposes. If the effect is done right, it could very easily give the illusion of hovering/flight better than anything else I have seen.....

Re: Cantilevered Roller Coaster
That's very nice idea... with a good rotative motion and a nice indoor track that would really create a real impression of flying

I think that the Pipeline that was created by Arrow Dynamics is a better and more practical coaster, and no one bought it.
