Re: Journey To Atlantis Photos
The ride itself is decent, and has some cool qualities. The Large Lifts for the attraction are amazing. I had the change to take a peak at them today. Very high complex lifting arms that both lift and tilt. I would highly agree that the back-story of this attraction is somewhat loss, due to the audio being faded out by screaming and background noises. My overall perspective on the ride is that its good for Sea World, but just lacks so much that other attractions at other venues show.

Re: Journey To Atlantis Photos
Why dont they try to conceal those speakers? It is fairly thin in many parts as far as theming goes, but also has really well themed parts. Was it budget limitations?

Re: Journey To Atlantis Photos
It looks nice, but seems a step down from their rapids ride in theming standards (to me at least). And, while location can't always be helped, the location for this ride (or the angle it was built at, at least) seems unfortunate, being that the coaster section seems to afford a beautiful view of the parking lot. And the chain link fence with slits in it doesn't help that much either. I guess I just wish more of it could have been inside (and that they'd themed that "fire escape" tower.
Still looks like fun, and there are areas that look beautiful, I just wish they'd carried that beauty throughout the entire attraction.-YellowMan: The Fresh Maker!

NOTE TO READERS: YellowMan has been known to joke around from time to time. Please don't take some posts by him to their full, literal meaning. Doing so will most likely end in one of the following: making a fool of YellowMan, making a fool of yourself, making a fool of Ronald Reagan, drymouth, or in rare cases, death. Thank you and enjoy your stay.

Re: Journey To Atlantis Photos
Interesting looking building. It looks smaller than ours though. That little roller coaster portion looks fun though. Ours doesn't have that. Your version's queue looks a little better themed too. Is the area right before the drop just an open area? Ours has darkness right before the drop.
