I agree with Nemo 100%. ToT is the best ride ever built on the face of the Earth and DCA is the greatest park ever built.

    *Pukes*

Rides with 10 year old technology are always wonderful, aren't they?

    Re: Mummy vs. Tower

Oh yeah, I just watched that Mummy video. WOW. And I thought ours was short. That sucks that you basically go through 2 & 1/2 rooms before getting launched, and there isn't much of a dark ride after that. That treasure room is like 1/4 the size of ours. I also prefer our uphill launch over that straight one. The Imhotep animatronic looks like something out of Spaceship Earth, like it was made 20 years ago. At least it probably doesn't break down as much as ours. Having an advanced animatronic to look at is nice, but when he isn't there it kinda ruins the entire ride. The dropping mummies aren't convincing either. Flying into the scarab room in the middle of the coaster must be jarrring. Our version is only going 5 mph before hitting that scene and it's still a gut check. That last scene is rediculously close to the station. The "faux fire" does look more convincing than I thought it would though. The one thing I do like about that version is that it looks more intimate and tomb-like than ours. Ours is a little too big and doesn't have enough themeing spread through the larger rooms. Then again, I guess that's because ours is supposedly a movie set instead of a tomb. It's also hard to be scared when what you're looking at is so far away from you.

The USH Mummy is just a girlie-man coaster.

Nah, it's about 15-90 minute waits. It depends on the time of day, and what day you go.
