I thought this was pretty interesting...it's a database for all the rollercoasters, not sure if it's world wide, though.

Have fun! Let me know if you find any off the wall rollercoasters that MUST be looked at.

It most certainly IS worldwide. I have been using it for years. Very handy resource when planning trips!

Kingda Ka in Jackson New Jersey looks CRAZY and ranks # 1 in the world in speed(128), drop(418') and height(456'). Just looking at it makes me want to cry!

It feels so weird, because I was a huge roller coaster enthusiast before being a Disney one. RCDB has been around for about ten years, I think.

Kingda Ka, the tallest one trick pony in the world! Well, technically, it's a two trick pony, but that's not much better than Top Thrill Dragster. I think FL has the best roster of coasters. Haven't been on SheiKra though.

I love to look up odd coasters on this site. Here's an interesting one, it has a 97 degree first drop.

There's actually a weird prototype coaster now. I forgot what it's called, but it does a 180 instead of dropping. It goes over the edge and immediately flips over. The track runs parallel to the track above it instead of going down, and the riders move back in the opposite direction they were going, while upside down. The car turns rightside up with a half loop and moves forward until it comes to the next edge. It does this multiple times. I can't find the video of it, but it's the strangest thing I've ever seen.
