The title basically says it all, which one do you like better??? Or have you even been?? I've heard from a few of my friends that Fright Fest is better, and the costumes are way better, but what are your opinions???

There is no fair comparison that can be made. Knott's Scary Farm beats the pants off of every other halloween event out there. Fright Fest? For the most part, its a joke.
Knott's has been doing this for 33 years now, basically inventing the theme park halloween event. They have 12 mazes and 5 scare zones. Heck, they even have a couple of shows that might be worth seeing. Even if you don't like Knott's during the year, Knott's Scary Farm is a whole different monster, and there is a lot to like about it.
After going to Knott's Haunt for years, I finally visited Fright Fest. I'm really sorry to say that it was not only not scary- but often humorous in the ineptitude of the attempted scares. I'm a big fan of anything halloween, but I have to say that there isn't much to like about Magic Mountain's Fright Fest.
Knott's does Halloween right, particularly when compared to Fright Fest.

^ Of the two choices, it's a no brainer, go to Haunt. Fright Fest is a joke, not even worth going. I have to disagree with Screamin though, I think the best Halloween event is definatly Halloween Horror Nights at IOA/USF. It's just amazing the level of detail and effects they can pull off there.

although I don't like Halloween events in genral (because it feels like a ghetto) I have to give the edge to KSF, because of the incredible lights-out Ghostrider.

Am I the only one who thinks the Queen Mary's halloween get-up trumps Knott's?
So there.

I think the fair way to judge both of them is to go to one only once, and go to the other after that, because if you've been to one so many times in a row, then you think it's better.......

Queen Mary is actually pretty good, the mazes are at the same level of Knotts. However, Knotts is still better due to the ammount of mazes and scare zones. Basically the advantage space.

Yea, I talked to my friend again, and he said that Halloween haunt can even touch Fright Fest, i guess i will just have to see for myslef. My friend said that at Halloween Haunt some of the costumed people follow slowly behind you and you walk around the park, and he said that at Fright Fest they actually run out of the bushes on all fours and chase you at full speed.....
