^ I doubt Universal would want a park so far from their studio park. I'm sure they'd want the parks to "feed" off each other. BUT if they DID build an IOA here, I would buy an annual pass in a second!

Well,I think they should close the studio park, alot of the stuff there is outdated and needs fixin up anyways,so take some of the elements from the studio and put them in the new IOA park.Close the theme park section of USH down, make it just a tour/studio,similar to what WB offers..and have IOA in valencia be the flagship theme park for CA.

    Here's what I found...

    ghet·to

    NOUN:
    pl. ghet·tos or ghet·toes
    1. A section of a city occupied by a minority group who live there especially because of social, economic, or legal pressure.
    2. An often walled quarter in a European city to which Jews were restricted beginning in the Middle Ages.
    3. Something that resembles the restriction or isolation of a city ghetto: "trapped in ethnic or pink-collar managerial job ghettoes" (Diane Weathers).

    ETYMOLOGY:
Italian, after Ghetto, island near Venice where Jews were made to live in the 16th century

Maybe it's just me, but it doesn't sound very complimentary...

Why get all worked up about a word that has been slanged out of its true definition long ago.

I doubt the kid looked it up in the dictionary before he posted it.

I'm assumed to have something against blacks and mexicans for using a word that's used so freely to describe Six Flags more than a few times here? Nice.

Being black or hispanic doesn't mean your ghetto, I would know.....I'm hispanic. And I never called anyone ghetto to begin with, I said the park is ghetto. At least, thats the state it was in when I last visited, and I'm not the only person who feels that way.

Although, I will say that Six Flags does attract a rougher crowd of loud, rude, obnoxious kids of my age group. Which sucks, because they give all teenagers a bad rep.

I won't call them ghetto though, it isn't only "black or mexican" kids that behave that way at Six Flag. Lots of kids of all other races do too, So it'd be unfair to call everyone that, seeing as "ghetto" means '"black or mexican" when I say it. (end sarcasm)

We really need that rolling eye smilie back.
