Being an Art Theory major does not make you an expert on color schemes, nor does it make you a expert on what matches and what does now.

First off, that's your major, not your career. You have a long way to go before you can even begin to think you can give someone a definitive answer on what's right or wrong in art.

Second, when did Know's claim that their coasters were art? I don't think they ever did. So I'm not sure how having any background in art will give you an upper hand in saying something is good or bad.

Third, you're an art theory major, not an art fact major. What you learn is never in the definitive case, it's always presented as theory. I highly doubt you could prove, in any logical sense of the word prove, anything useful regarding the color schemes at Knott's Boardwalk.

Bottom line is, if you don't like the colors on the boardwalk, don't go to the coardwalk. There are plenty of ther Boomerang coasters around these United States. Call up Vekoma, find out where more are. I'm sure somewhere out there, there's a Vekoma Boomerang with a pleasant color scheme for your eyes.

Oh, I wanna be different just like everybody else!

The Ride sensations wont change, but the ride itself will be much uglier! I don't visit Theme Parks just for the Rollercoasters, I visit for the WHOLE Theme Park experience, which is EVERYTHING form Park cleanliness, Overall Apperance & Impression, Appeal, Staff Helpfulness & Friendliness, Convenients, attractions, Shops restaraunts & Restrooms, shows, entertainment, Value, and overall upkeep and maitnenvce of the park.

Latley, Knott's has been lacking in the Cleanliness, appeal, friendly staff, value, upkeep & Maintence departments!

When I pay $40 to visit a park, I expect to get my $'s worth, and not be subjected to most of the crap knott's has become.

Lest take the boardwalk area for example! What happend to the colourful sea mirals on the pavment, the whinical clown skulptures, the beach sand, the colourfull fish sculptures, and overall carnival seaside experience of it?! not there is just a bunch of ugly un matching colour scemes, bland gly pavement, poor upkeep of the dinosaur ride, trash, and a stupid toothpick thing in the middle which doesn't serve the porpose it use to (to hold a Parachute ride and to be the cetral icon of the park...

I saw Boomerang when I went to Knotts last week and thought that it's new color fit in nicely with the Boardwalk theme next to X-cerleator. The whole area seems alot fresher and newer. ( Too bad that they removed the parachute drop though, it was pretty exciting. )

Felix if you actually went down there and saw it you would find it very nice how the color goes or unless your to stubborn to accept change. All of the things you named for the Boardwalk have never been there before so i dont know why you go on listing that stuff. The parachute drop had to go it was a safty hazard and it cost to much to keep running.

But I did make some faces in the middle that I wish I could take back but I can't and there was also a sort of whiny noise that came out at the end that probaly wasn't my finest hour and...I sucked so bad! I was like a fish flopping around on dry land. I was Nemo and I just wanted to go home.

Well thats your opinion I defiently dont agree but you are allowed your own view of things. I say the boardwalk is looking better then ever especially since the boring blue theme for boomerang is gone. I will defiently continue to go there often.

The Boardwalk area looks absolutely rejuvenated! It really does look nice with the new bright, bold color scheme. They do need to get new cars for the track, though.....as it stands, it just doesn't look right. But I'm sure it will all come together in due time.
