Edit- oh wow I just realized I spelled Wharf wrong on by photo tags, and title and everything opps
Well living just 45 mins away from SF and going to school in SF you would think I would visit more.. but that isnt the casebut here a photo trip report from Fishermans Warf and Pier 39. I forgot to charge my cameras battery the night before so I didnt get as many pics as I wanted but theres still a good amount.
If you want the full size images I'v uploaded all of them on to the MI member galleries or just click on my screen name
Anyways over the bay bridge we go after paying 4 bucks to cross-
The real Golden Gate bridge is a real sight to see-
Fishermans Wharf
Rain Forest Cafe is here at Fishermans Warf I saw some save the rainforest stuff inside too.... oh wrong rainforest![]()

Fun!
I love taking the ferry to SF once in a great while. Just don't eat at the Boudin Bakery there. The food is overpriced and not that good. You remind me of the babe...

I love seeing these pictures. I haven't been to San Fran since my sister went to Stanford back in the 80's. I remember the pier area being SO much fun, always something new around the corner.
BTW, I fixed your spelling error.

Pier 45 / Musee Mecanique
So in away hidden behing Fisherman's Wharf is a really cool warehouse filled with many old arcade games not the ones with Pacman or other shooting games but the old classic ones, think Main Streets Penny Acrcade times 1000!
You'll also find the Laughing Lady and the Arm Wrestling game that were in the move Princess Diaries.
For more about Pier 45/ Musee Mecanique click below.
http://www.museemechanique.org/index.html
In a building almost hidden is a true hidden gem.

A look inside nothing fancey but the games themselfs more than make up for everything-

A quick look outside and you'll find a WWII submarine,

Some of the games I wanted to take a few videos but my cameras battery was almost dead and I wanted to get more pics instead. So enjoy the pics below.

This was called the Carnival put in 50 cents and the rides, people, every thing moves and lights up.

Remind you of anything????

A look at the walls

Snow White?!?!? no

I thought this was nice but I just read a quote that goes-
"Disneyland isnt designed just for children. When does a person stop being a child? Can you say that a child is ever entirely emilimiated from an adult?
I think some other boards should read that before watching Pixar Play Parade

Laughing Sally!

Not my videos but you can get a better look at what they are and if you've seen Princess Diaries you'll be reminded in an instant.
I forgot to upload a pic of the arm wrestling thing so I'll do that tomorrow

Pier 39
Ok last part
A short walk from the games and Fishermans Wharf you'll find Pier 39-

Kind of windy today

But a great day to visit the city and no fog-

Theres an upstairs and a downstairs, upstairs had a lot of dinning options while downstairs is filled with shops-

Turbo ride is pretty much Star Tours I think but it's about 12.95 a ride or 17.95 for 3 rides each showing a different show.

Looking back towards Fishermans Wharf-

The carousel-

The Rock (see a really nice day today)

I dont see any monorails on that bridge

This is the side facing the bay-

Seals! or are they walrus's? I think there seals.....

Up towards the front-

Right on the otherside of me-

Up towards the front again with a better view, you can see Coit tower and the TransAmerica Pyrmid-

Funny little show-

Night time shot-

I just thought it looked nice-

Another look-

And to end the photos with-

I actually ate at North Beach Pizza Company, it was good theres an all you can eat for 12.95 included pizza, salads, soups, pastas, drinks, not bad at all plus if you have AAA you can get 10% your meals at all Pier 39 locations."Tomorrow will be better for as long as America keeps alive the ideals of freedom and a better life." Neither, as I an avid San Franciscan so snobbily corrected me, they are sealions. I love Pier 39, that picture from the second level of the whole place made me smile.

Thanks for fixing that Cinder
hope you get to visit again some day
Yea its nice to use and because its nice to be able to see them all on one site instead of useing photobucket.
lol I was thinking the same thing when I found the whole place then I was like omg Juile Andrews was here.
Thanks! I forgot to take apic of it but theres a bunch of signs saying where to head to see them."Tomorrow will be better for as long as America keeps alive the ideals of freedom and a better life." Walt Disney
