Further note.. Uni sued the maker of the Suess Landing overhead train ride too.
Apparently they don't learn their lesson about using the lowest bidder..

I have gone and edited quite a bit from this thread. If you can not post respectfully to one another then either don't post, or ignore. Thank you.

The Kuku company sells several different versions of the robotic arm technology. The most well-known one of the stationary one that Legoland purchased and utilized several years ago. Still haven't figured out exactly why Disney is now suddenly so interested in showing off the exact same thing. It's possible they will be using the upgraded version which is an enclosed seating with a video simulator:

I can't seem to find it now but I remember reading an article on the Kuka site claiming they were developing one of their arms to work on a moving track, and the Harry Potter rumors began.
I think the rumor that Universal bought "exclusive" rights to the Kuku arm are completely false. It's clear from their website they are extremely interested in marketing their product or "customizing specific products" for any customer's need. They may be contracting support to Uni's project but there's nothing stopping Disney from contracting them also.

Pretty interesting website to read through if you're dorky like me

I'm addicted to Disneyland. Disneyland hobbies are expensive. If I become a bum people are going to say "Don't give him money, he's just gonna use it on Disneyland."
