Inside and In Depth: California Avocado Week at the Downtown Disney District

Yesterday, Nftysqrt went to the California Avocado Week at the Downtown Disney District. This year marked the second year at Downtown Disney and offers cooking demonstrations, guacamole contests, and dancing every day from July 1-7.

After watching the cooking demonstration from Chef Thomas Keaveny, from ESPN Zone, we then walked over to Catal for an amazing three course meal from the California Avocado Commission.

The Downtown Disney stage plays host to a daily cooking demonstration featuring California Avocados.




Guacamole contests are held at the main stage each day. The winners get a $100 gift card prize.




The cooking demonstration each day is hosted by a different restaurant of Downtown Disney. Each restaurant in Downtown Disney is also participating in Avocado Week by featuring menu items that use California Avocados.



















From 2 to 4pm each day you can get a free avocado facial at Sephora!
