• A look inside D23's Destination D: 75 Years of Animated Features

    On August 12, 2012, the Disneyland Hotel played host to D23's Destination D: 75 Years of Animated Features. This year the special member-only event included a special concert by Alan Menken, an appearance by Dick Van Dyke and the Vantastics, and a whole lot more Disney Magic with several trips down Memory Lane.

    An “animated” flash mob helped welcome guests to Destination D: 75 Years of Disney Animated Features.




    Oscar-winning composer Alan Menken played dozens of his most beloved songs.




    Animator Andreas Deja taught at the crowd how to draw some of their favorite characters on August 12, 2012 at the Disneyland Hotel.

    A once-in-a-lifetime moment happened when many of the women for have worked on or inspired Tinker Bell gathered.
