October 8, 2012 - Disneyland Resort announces the new 2013-2014 Ambassador Team

In a special ceremony this morning in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle, Cast Members Sachiko White and Megan Navarette were announced the as the 2013-2014 Disneyland Ambassador Team. The pair will continue the tradition that was started by Walt Disney himself in 1965 of officially representing the Disneyland Resort.



White and Navarette were selected from a group of more than 80 applicants and will spend a two-year term representing the Disneyland Resort in a variety of events.

The castle is all dressed up for the Ambassador Ceremony.




Renee Torrico and Jolie Hales, the current Disneyland Ambassadors, were the announcers for the ceremony.

Sachiko White and Megan Navarette got their first interviews as Disneyland Resort Ambassadors on Main Street's Town Square.

White and Navarette were selected from nearly 80 applicants be the official emissaries of goodwill for the Disneyland Resort. As part of their full-time duties, they will represent the Resort at a variety of events, such as hospital visits with Disney characters, special promotions, and cast recognition ceremonies.
