A parody spoof of the popular viral Gangnam Style song aired yesterday on Disney Channel's Phineas and Ferb in South Korea. Disney Channel tapped PSY, a South Korean rapper and producer whose style of music videos has become a worldwide phenomenon, to create “Perry Style,” featuring Perry the Platypus.
The infectious tune sits quite comfortably amongst the slew of other songs that are performed in the show, both new and original. Despite the first instinct to groan at a commercial conglomerate like Disney jumping on a viral bandwagon it's actually a good fit for the show which itself is quite tongue in cheek in its humor.
