• TravelEAR Abroad: A Magical Experience in the Mountains

Welcome back, travelEARS! Today we are taking you on a magical experience that you definitely won’t want to miss! Welcome to Snowdonia Manor.

Located in the high reaches of Snowdonia National Park and accessible only by steam train, this hotel definitely harkens back to the magic of a Disney vacation!

    About This Hotel

    Blaenau Ffestiniog, United Kingdom
    Typical Cost:
    $100 to $250/ night

Snowdonia Manor is a historic house that is one of the oldest inhabited houses in all of Wales, dating all the way back to the 15th century. Accessible through a private railroad platform, only guests staying at this quite, secluded location are allowed to disembark off the train and enjoy all that Snowdonia Manor has to offer.

Imagine sitting on the platform high up in the mountains watching steam trains emerge out of the woods with their whistles blowing, chugging up the mountain. It’s a truly magical scene that Snowdonia Manor offers to its guests.

The cottage has two bedrooms, sleeping four people in total. There are also many activities you can participate in while staying here, including biking, hiking, fishing, and golf. This is definitely a great hotel for people wanting to get a taste of the great outdoors!

See you next week as we continue to take you, the TravelEAR, Abroad.
