Disneyland was a flutter with activity today as Day 1 of taping commenced for the Disney Parks Christmas Day Parade. The parade itself will be taping on Sunday so Saturday was dedicated to FOUR special live performances.

The first performance was filmed along Matterhorn Way with Disney Channel star Dove Cameron. Special wristbands were required to gain access to that performance so we weren't able to catch a glimpse however we did have a chance to see the other three performances for the day that were filmed in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle.

The first castle performance was the splashy appearance of Demi Lovato who sang her single version of "Let it Go" from the FROZEN Motion Picture Soundtrack. The Disney Channel songstress performed live with constant pyro and a fluttery snow confetti finale.

Following that performance was American Idol Alum Jordin Sparks and artist Jason Derulo. The adorable soon-to-be newlyweds sang "Baby It's Cold Outside."

The final castle performance for the day was a special one by Mary J. Blige and David Foster. Blige sang a truly enchanting version of "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" off of her upcoming holiday album. She commanded the stage with an effortless charisma.
