• Pictorial: Lunar New Year Celebration returns to Paradise Garden

    The Lunar New Year Celebration
has returned this year celebrating the Year of the Sheep. The celebration has returned to the Paradise Garden area at Disney California Adventure. Returning again this year was the traditional arts and crafts and face painting, and the traditional Chinese Artist showcasing their talents.

Of course their was Mushu, Chip and Dale, Mickey and Minnie doing character meet n greets in traditional Chinese wardrobe. The Dragon Dancers returned and dazzled guests as well. The Mulan and Mushu processional also returned but was a lot bigger this year with each talent group given a couple of minutes to showcase their dancing or martial arts. This was a great addition to just Mulan and Mushu doing a couple of posses then leaving.

Overall, I love that Disney has continued utilizing this area to celebrate different cultures, and I hope they continue with it.

    Hope you enjoy!
