• Inside and In Depth - Avengers: Age of Ultron Press Conference

Invited press were assumed in the Main Theater at the Walt Disney Studios in Burbank, California recently for a quick but thrilling press conference with the principal cast and creative team of AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON.

Director Joss Whedon and Executive Producer Kevin Feige joined Robert Downey, Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, James Spader, Paul Bettany, Mark Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Cobie Smulders and Elizabeth Olsen to take questions from the crowd of bloggers and international press.

The moderator made an effort to ensure everyone on the dais answered a question, and he started off by asking Cobie Smulders about her portrayal of Agent Maria Hill. Whedon and Feige were popular targets as well, being asked a wide range of questions about not only Avengers 2, but the vision of the Marvel Cinematic Universe at large.

Whedon mentioned that when writing he likes to just sit down and let these characters have conversations to see where they're at and where they're going. Feige commented on how insane the idea of a Marvel Cinematic Universe seemed in 2008, and how stunned he is that it has come to fruition.

Johansson admitted to not doing all her own stunts considering she was very pregnant during production. Ruffalo laughed off a question about distinguishing the Hulk from Dr. Banner - one's big, green and CGI, and the other...isn't.

RDJ was visibly annoyed that he wasn't addressed first by the press, and even went so far as to let us know that he would walk out of the next press conference if he's not asked the first question. He was joking...kind of.

All of the actors looked concerned about accidentally revealing spoilers. Ruffalo even joked that they all have apps on their iPhones that provide them with an electrical shock if they say something they shouldn't.

It was an amazing experience to have that stellar of a cast gathered in one place, at one time and despite being exhausted from an insane press tour, they answered the questions given with gusto. Go see Avengers: Age of Ultron this weekend like everyone else in the world will! You don't want to be left out, do you?
