LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. — The Force was with Walt Disney Parks and Resorts recently when Star Tours – The Adventures Continue earned one of four top Disney honors among the 18th annual Thea Awards announced by the Themed Entertainment Association (TEA).

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. – A little gardening magic will go a long way when an eight-foot-tall floral Sorcerer Mickey topiary holds court at the entrance to the 19th Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival March 7-May 20 at Walt Disney World Resort. Standing atop a 12-foot-tall floral mountain cliff and towering above the park’s front-entrance topiary bed, the commanding Sorcerer Mickey will direct a riot of color in the manicured shapes of dancing broomsticks, buckets, mushrooms, hippos, alligators and elephants straight from the classic Disney film, “Fantasia.”

(Hong Kong, November 17, 2011) – Hong Kong Disneyland Resort hosted the grand opening ceremony of Toy Story Land, a brand new themed area exclusive to Hong Kong within Asia, today. The opening of Toy Story Land marks a key milestone for the Resort, concluding the first phase of its expansion project. Inspired by the global blockbuster Toy Story trilogy, the new themed area contains imaginative, storytelling attractions that can be enjoyed by Guests from Hong Kong and around the world alike.

Burbank, Calif. -- November 17, 2011 -- Disney Mobile today released “Tap Tap Muppets” for the iPhone, iPod touch and iPad. On Monday, the Disneyland Resort invited Gunnery Sgt. Derrick Poteat, a veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom from the 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit’s S-6 communication platoon, and his family to "flip the switch" on more than 300,000 holiday lights blanketing “it’s a small world” Holiday, transforming the popular attraction into a visual wonderland and officially launching the holiday season at the Disneyland Resort.

BURBANK, Calif. – November 16, 2011 – In 2012, D23: The Official Disney Fan Club will take the show on the road as it kicks off a year-long celebration for D23 members with a bold lineup of fantastic events.

Disney/Pixar released the newest trailer for Brave today, giving us an introduction to even more characters in the movie. Also, yesterday they released some never before seen images from the film.

Through the generosity of the House of Blues and Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County, 650 students and family members will enjoy a traditional Thanksgiving meal on November 24 from 10 am to 1 pm at the House of Blues, Downtown Disney. The recipients, who were selected by Anaheim City School District staff, are considered homeless, in that they lack regular nighttime accommodations or live in shelters, motels, shared housing or public places.
