Today D23 announced that starting August 9th tickets will begin selling for the 2013 D23 Expo. Also announced this year, the expo will feature an overflow theater for the D23 Arena, also an expanded Stage 23 seating. D23 Expo also brings more fun with an expanded show floor to include almost all of the lower convention center's Hall's.

Tickets for D23 Expo 2013 will be available at a discounted price for a limited time. From August 9–December 31, 2012, tickets will be $47 for a one-day adult admission and $37 for children 3-12. Tickets for members of D23: The Official Disney Fan Club will be $40 for a one-day adult admission and $32 for children. Multi-day money-saving tickets are also available for both D23 Members and the general public, and D23 Members can save as much as $204 off the price of admission, based on the purchase of four three-day tickets at the D23 Member rate.

The second -- and largest -- area of multiyear expansion at the Hong Kong Disneyland Resort was unveiled last week: Grizzly Gulch transports guests to a Wild West mining town that recalls a golden era of hope, adventure and opportunity.

On Friday, July 13, 2012, select fans at San Diego Comic Con were treated to an exclusive premiere screening of ITEM 47, a Marvel One-Shot short film which will be included with the bonus material on the upcoming September 25th Blu-ray & DVD release of THE AVENGERS!

Comic Con attendees were encouraged to download the all-new App - "The Avengers Initiative: A Marvel Second Screen App" - from the iTunes store for unprecedented access to exclusive content building up to the September 25th home entertainment release, and also in order to partake in the alternate reality game (ARG) at the Con!

Fan solved puzzles within the App to receive special codes, that when unlocked, guided them to their next clue using a built in map of the Gas Lamp District in Downtown San Diego. A total of 4 location spots were included. Upon completing the entire ARG experience, fans were given access to the special screening followed by a Q&A with ITEM 47 director and Marvel co-president Louis D'Esposito, and stars Lizzy Caplan, Jesse Bradford and Maximiliano Hernandez!

Walt Disney World Marathon, Half Marathon, and Goofy Challenge are now the newest races to be designated as Runner's World Challenge Events. Presented by Cigna, participants will virtually train with Runner's World editors leading up to race weekend, and then on race weeked will have the opportunity to enjoy an exclusive VIP race with Runner's World editors.

The Disney World Half Marathon Weekend is January 12-13th.

Walt Disney Studios kicked off today with the collaboration of Hanes, the "Odd Life of Timothy Green" sock drive. Starting today the drive is aiming to provide new socks for families in need across the United States.

Disney Interactive and Activision Publishing Inc. announed a collaboration to produce "Wreck - It- Ralph video game. The video game is set to inspire a whole new generation of young gamers as a classic, arcade style games.

The game picks up where the movie leaves off as Ralph partners with Fix-It Felix and sets out to save their friends and home from a huge Cy-Bug invasion. Pounding through all-new levels in the Wreck-It Ralph universe, like Sugar Rush, Hero’s Duty and Fix-It Felix, Jr., players will have to use Ralph’s destructive strength to beat the Cy-Bugs, while switching back to Felix to repair the damage. With story campaign and two-player co-op on the Wii platform, players can switch between Ralph and Felix to solve action-packed puzzles and collect Hero Medals.

During Haute Couture week from July 2-5 in Paris, France world famous shoe designer Chistian Louboutin unveiled the ultimate Cinderella slipper. He was invited by Disney to re-imagine the iconic slipper in honor of "Cinderella" Diamond Edition on Blu-ray this fall.

To celebrate the grand opening of D23 Presents Treasures of the Walt Disney Archives at The Reagan Library, Walt Disney Records is releasing an official soundtrack as a digital download available at Amazon.com.

A Musical Tour: Treasures of the Walt Disney Archives at the Reagan Library offers 23 specially selected song and instrumental tracks that are used in the actual exhibit.
