Disney California Adventure is getting in the holiday spirit this year with Buena Vista Street celebrating it's first christmas with new holiday traditions. Shops up and down Buena Vista Street have decorated for the holidays, and inside Elias & Company guests can meet Santa Claus just like in the old department stores.

The Buena Vista Street Community Bell Ringers will welcome guests to Buena Vista Street, and when nighttime falls everyone will join the Community Bell Ringers around Carthay Circle in the lighting of the Buena Vista Street Christmas tree.

Disney Parks Blog tomorrow will be announcing ways that Disneyland Resort Annual Passholders will be able to enjoy viewing for the 2012 Candlelight Ceremony and Processional. Announced last week on the Blog, Annual Passholders will be able to enter the sweepstakes to win viewing for one of the twenty nights of Disneyland's Candlelight Ceremony and Processional.

More than 75 Walt Disney World VoluntEARS recently supported ABC’s national “Day of Giving,” which raised more than $16.8 million for the American Red Cross to aide those affected by Hurricane Sandy.

Disney Cruise Line was names number one cruise line in the Large Ship category in the Conde Nast Traveler, 2012 Readers Choice Awards. Starting in 2013, guests will be able to choose from four-night Caribbean getaway cruises, six-night Western Caribbean sailings and eight-night itineraries that travel to Walt Disney World Resort and Disney’s private island in the Bahamas, Castaway Cay. In December, the Disney Wonder will begin sailing from Miami, Florida to the Bahamas and the Western Caribbean.

In 2013, the Disney Magic returns to Europe with four-, seven- and 12-night sailings from Barcelona with first-ever stops in Venice, Italy, Croatia’s Dalmatian Coast, Ephesus, Turkey and the Greek Isles. The Disney Fantasy and Disney Dream will continue to sail a variety of Caribbean and Bahamian itineraries departing from Port Canaveral, Florida.

Starting tomorrow at Walt Disney World in the Downtown Disney District, Festival of the Masters returns for its 37th year. The open-air fine arts festival features more than 150 artists including Disney Artist Village tent located at Pleasure Island. The event takes place from 10 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday; 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday.

“The Happiest Balloon on Earth” is going to Leon, Guanajuato, to participate in the 11th annual International Balloon Festival, Nov. 16-19 in Metropolitan Ecological Park.

Wreck-It Ralph presented our animators and technology team with a number of challenges when it came to creating the movie’s multi-dimensional – and very different – worlds. There’s the 8-bit-style gameplay of Fix-It Felix Jr. and the sophisticated first-person-shooter look of Hero’s Duty, as well as the cart racing game, Sugar Rush, set in a world made entirely of candy.

Disney Interactive announced yesterday that a demo of the highly-anticipated “Disney Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two” video game is now available for download on the PlayStation®Network and Xbox LIVE® Marketplace for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft in North America.

The demo includes an extensive tutorial how to play the game plus introduces Oswald. The demo concludes with a preview sizzle reel that showcases some of the exciting and action-packed elements of the game.

The newest CD from Disney California Adventure features jazz versions of great Disney songs selected from the soundtrack at Carthay Circle Restaurant and Lounge.

Disney Twenty-Three magazine winters issue will feature an inside look at the making of Wreck-it-Ralph. Available nationwide on Nov. 13, Disney twenty-three answers this question through exclusive interviews with director Rich Moore, writer Phil Johnston, star Sarah Silverman and more.

Along with the new issue, D23 Gold Members will receive a special member-only gift: a vibrant set of pixelated Wreck-It Ralph window clings featuring Ralph, Fix-It Felix, Jr. and the Nicelanders.

In a surprising announcement from Disney's corporate blog the Disney Post, Bob Iger just announced that The Walt Disney Company will be acquiring Lucasfilm. This includes the Star Wars franchise, Industrial Light and Magic and Skywalker Sound.

Also announced was Star Wars Episode 7 a new feature film expected in theaters worldwide in 2015. No announcement yet has been made to adding more of the franchise to Disney Parks.

Aulani brings back it's popular Starlit Hui as it moves to its new location on the Halawai lawn as the resort expansion continues. It’s the same exciting and eloquent gathering, featuring live music, world-class hula performance and an after-party with visiting Disney characters. And as before, it will be presented each Monday and Thursday evening.

We've just received word that the Disney Cruise Line has been responsive to the worries about the east coast Hurricane Sandy. In response, Disney Cruise Line has extended a 25% discount to future cruises for those guests impacted by Hurricane Sandy. This applies for guests debarked the Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy on October 27 and 28th.

The El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood is once again taking fun to the next level with Disney’s “Wreck-It Ralph” in wreck-tacular 3D from Nov. 2-Dec. 18, 2012.

Every showing of the movie will start with both Ralph and Vanellope live on stage! They will amp everyone up with the help of the El Capitan's very own DJ. After the movie, El Capitan guests will get a special behind-the-scenes look at the film with an exclusive Art of Wreck-It-Ralph Exhibit.
