Disney has released a new promo trailer, “Disney’s PLANES Takes Flight,” featuring music by the film's composer, Mark Mancina gives everyone a great look into this animated home-release dubbed good enough to be a featured-film. Are you convinced?

Officiated by executives, the MYSTIC POINT expansion at Hong Kong Disneyland had its official opening on May 16. The attraction officially opens for the public on May 17 but has been in soft-open previews for a few weeks now.

With the addition of Toy Story Land in 2011, Grizzly Gulch in 2012 and Mystic Point this year, the size of Hong Kong Disneyland has increased by almost 25%.

Hong Kong Disneyland will also be upping its marketing outreach for the newly expanded park with campaigns in select markets in Indonesia, Taiwan, Singapore, the Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand and India.

D23 has quite a few updates and changes in store in the coming weeks. Aside from a newly relaunched website, the official Disney fan club will also be launching a free version of membership plus new online features to access including:

Kingdom Hearts 1.5 HD is now available to pre-order from GameStop, Amazon, and Walmart. The game hits stores September 10th, and is exclusive to Playstation 3.

From Walt Disney Animation Studios comes “Big Hero 6,” an action comedy adventure about brilliant robotics prodigy Hiro Hamada, who finds himself in the grips of a criminal plot that threatens to destroy the fast-paced, high-tech city of San Fransokyo.

Inspired by the Marvel comics of the same name, and featuring comic-book style action and all the heart and humor audiences expect from Walt Disney Animation Studios, the CG-animated “Big Hero 6” hits theaters in 3D on November 7, 2014.

On May 25th at the Disneyland Resort, Opa! A celebration of Greece will officially kick off with live entertainment, dancing, wine tasting, and of course, Olympic training with Hercules.

Authentic Greek tastes include thin flatbreads; a classic gyro, the Greek version of a quick-service sandwich with rotisserie meat and veggies; spanakopita swirl, a fun take on the traditional spinach pie; and melomakarona (meh-loh-mah-KAH-roh-nah), a delicious cookie with honey and walnuts.

Each day from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., activities at the festival center around “it’s a small world” Mall in Disneyland park and Paradise Gardens in Disney California Adventure park.

One of the true Disney fan highlights at each D23 Expo is the D23 “Treasures of the Walt Disney Archives” as it features tons of memorabilia, costumes, and props of Disney history.

D23 today announced that this year the exhibit will feature: the 50th anniversary of Mary Poppins, ABC’s hit television series Once Upon A Time, and a look at the longstanding connection between Disney and L. Frank Baum’s beloved series of books about the land of Oz.

This year's D23 Expo at the Anaheim Convention Center will be held from August 9 – 11, 2013.

In Marvel’s Iron Man 3, Tony Stark finds himself falling more than soaring as he struggles to overcome his anxiety and fear of donning the infamous suit that made him a super celebrity but that struggle is translating into an opposite upswing in box office dollars.

The film took in $174.2 million at the box office this weekend in the US and Canada, making it the year’s biggest opening and the second biggest opening of all time after only Marvel’s The Avengers. In just 12 days, the third installment of Marvel’s blockbuster Iron Man franchise – which began its international rollout April 24 – has taken in a staggering $677 million at the global box office.

In honor of Earth Month, more than 350 Disney Cruise Line guests and crew members got outside to participate in “Walk for Wildlife” events held onboard the ships and on Disney’s private island in The Bahamas, Castaway Cay.

To date, “Walk for Wildlife” events have generated more than $35,000 from a combination of company and personal crew member donations. In addition to the walks, Disney Cruise Line made a $5,000 donation to DWCF on behalf of guests and crew who sailed onboard during Earth Day.

As part of Marvel's "Iron Man 3" releasing in theaters today, May 3rd, Disney has announced IRON MAN 3: INVENTOR and INNOVATOR FAIR. 12 finalists have been announced and the winner will be chosen the evening of May 3rd, at the 4:30pm screening of Marvel’s “Iron Man 3,” Grand Prize winners will receive their awards in a special ceremony onstage at the El Capitan Theatre, hosted by Asa Kalama, a Walt Disney Imagineer. All 12 INVENTOR and INNOVATOR FAIR finalists will have their projects on display at the El Capitan from May 3rd – June 19th.

The Disneyland Resort is celebrating 30 years of the VoluntEARS program, and yesterday, it announced the 2013 VoluntEAR of the year and the VoluntEAR team of the year. Jon Storbeck, vice president of Disneyland park, was named 2013 VoluntEAR of the Year. Storbeck, a 30-year cast member, has volunteered since he began his career at the Disneyland Resort. He helped lead the original Disneyland Community Action Team, which would eventually become the Disney VoluntEARS.

The 2013 VoluntEAR Team of the Year title was presented to the Disney VoluntEARS Leadership Council, composed of 45 cast members from various lines of business who meet monthly to review, coordinate, and lead about 160 Disney VoluntEARS projects each year. They also bring awareness of the Disney VoluntEARS program to their respective divisions and business units.

To celebrate Universal Studio's 100 years in film history, a brand new NBCUniversal Experience is now open on the lower lot. Three of this year’s top films nominated for “Best Costume Design” at the 75th Academy Awards will now have costume gowns and props on display within their The NBCUniversal Experience attraction. Some costumes on display will be:
