Disney has issued a press release to the puzzling Social Media All Stars event that kicked up a flurry of commotion earlier this week. On Tuesday, November 5, Disney Parks will be revealing content created by a lineup of social media all stars before a live audience at the Disneyland Resort.

Sounding a bit like a nerdier version of the Walt Disney World Mom's Panel that's open to anybody, it sounds like the pre-selected group of social media all stars will include YouTube sensations Mike Tompkins, Tiffany Alvord, Reality Changers and Mindy McKnight of as well as familiar faces like Ridiculously Photogenic Guy and of course the world’s grumpiest cat, Grumpy Cat.

Disney Legend Tony Baxter was recognized this morning with a special window dedication on Main Street, USA.

Located on the second level of the Main Street Magic Shop, the window reads: Main Street Marvels. Tony Baxter, Inventor. “Imagination is in the Heart of our Creations." The last line is a nod to the "One Little Spark" song written by Disney Legends Richard M. and Robert B. Sherman for the Journey Into Imagination Pavilion at Epcot which is one of the original EPCOT attractions that Baxter worked on.

The special honor of receiving a window dedication dates back to the original opening of Disneyland in 1955 where Walt Disney paid tribute to some of the key players involved with bringing Disneyland to life. Since then, it has been an honor received to a select few who've had an impact on the Disneyland. Each "Disneyland style" park features a Main Street with windows dedicated to various real people.

Baxter has had an instrumental role in several iconic Disney Parks creations including Big Thunder Mountain Railroad (1979), New Fantasyland (1983), Star Tours (1987), Splash Mountain (1989), and Indiana Jones Adventure (1995), Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage (2007), the re-opening of an enhanced Sleeping Beauty Castle Walkthrough (2008), an upgraded restoration of Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln (2009), and Fantasy Faire (2013).

Magic came to life on stage through music this week thanks to Danny Elfman's Music from the Films of Tim Burton concert that took place at the Nokia Theatre.

Initially introduced as a single-night event for Halloween night, the immense popularity of the event prompted the addition of two additional nights for the concert. As fortune would have it, we were invited to the concert to enjoy an evening of beautiful music, live performances, and the trademark dark magic that is created by the music of Danny Elfman and visuals of Tim Burton.
