A new ice skating rink being built at the Downtown Disney District will allow guests to skate right into the world of Tinker Bell to celebrate the October 23 release of Disney “Secret of the Wings”! The new ice rink will soon begin limited operation, with a grand opening to follow on October 23.

Bring your own skates or pay the $3 skate rental free plus the skating admission fee of $15 (fee for toddlers is $12) and enjoy a wintry activity in the not so wintry heart of Anaheim.

And starting November 12, a special holiday village will surround the rink, with themed chalets where guests can purchase seasonal foods and merchandise and partake in various activities.

In a ceremony held today at Epcot, Tye Arnold and Rich Tamayo received their official ambassador pins as part of the announcement, which was greeted with a burst of confetti and the applause of friends, family and Cast Members.

From noon today through 8 pm, Sephora at Downtown Disney in Anaheim will be offering Cinderella-inspired makeovers to celebrate the new Disney Cinderella Collection of beauty products and the Cinderella Diamond Edition release on Blu-ray and DVD, both available now.

In a special ceremony this morning in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle, Cast Members Sachiko White and Megan Navarette were announced the as the 2013-2014 Disneyland Ambassador Team. The pair will continue the tradition that was started by Walt Disney himself in 1965 of officially representing the Disneyland Resort.

The new Fantasyland at Walt Disney World is taking shape. Magic Kingdom guests can now take a ride on side by side Dumbo attractions and recently opened Pete’s Silly Sideshow invites guests to meet some beloved Disney circus stars who are excited to show off their special talents.

This is a great place to meet new friends and pose for photos with some familiar faces.
