Welcome back, travelEARS! Today we take you to a very cool hotel known simply as The Caves.

The name of the resort is pretty self-explanatory. This hotel is built in and around a vast system of caves… and you can stay in your very own Cave of Wonder.

Disney recently unveiled the imagery of the Gingerbread House at the Haunted Mansion Holiday. A new sketch revealed that this year the tradition of building the Haunted Mansion in gingerbread form has been put on hold in favor of a candy creation of Jack Skellington's house, instead.

As always, the decorative elements of the sugary dream come true are all 100% edible although several inedible elements are used for structure, electricity, lighting, and any special effects that might be used.

Last year, the Haunted Mansion was recreated in gingerbread form in a creepily playful and colorful rendition suitable for a child's Christmas nightmare.

Disneyland is once again in stock with the much anticipated Poster Art of the Disney Parks coffee table book featuring the beautiful renderings, concepts, and imagery of the posters that grace the Disney Parks around the world.

This morning, a special signing event was held at the Disney Gallery at Disneyland featuring book authors Vanessa Hunt and Danny Handke as well as Imagineers Tony Baxter, Larry Nikkolai, and Will Eyerman.

It was a quick visit to the parks as the temperature and the crowds were quickly rising. Before leaving, we made our way on the Omnibus for a trip up to Sleeping Beauty Castle and right back down to the beginning of Main Street.

runDisney has revealed the commemorative 20th anniversary Walt Disney World Marathon given to runners finishing the 26.2 mile course. The Walt Disney World Marathon anchors the Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend presented by Cigna at Walt Disney World Resort, Jan. 10 – 13, 2013.

Last week Hipster Ariel, Condescending Wonka, Old Spice Guy and I did our damnedest to prove that Walt Disney World rocks the socks off of Disneyland, and frankly, we did an amazing job. I was so convinced, it wasn’t until I took my pills and took my Orange Bird tongue ring out that the other side of the story hit me like a ton of bricks.

What if Hipster Ariel and I were wrong? What if Disneyland is actually better than Walt Disney World? What if intimate castles do trump really big ones? What if Obama and Romney are the same person?

Without further ado, Disneyland, that grande dame of theme parks, ascends to its rightful place on the throne. Eat it Florida!

Disney recently announced a treasure chest full of information about the newest expansion coming to Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World in Florida. Official dates, beautiful promotional artwork, and more details about the expansion's offerings have become available.

In these awesome renderings we'll see Belle in front of Maurice's Cottage, home to Enchanted Tales with Belle, Ariel in front of Under the Sea ~ Journey of the Little Mermaid, and an updated rendering of the full map of enhancements coming to New Fantasyland which includes the Enchanted Forest which begins previews starting November 19, 2012. Grand Opening will be on December 6, 2012.

The Walt Disney Travel Company has announced that guests traveling on a Walt Disney Travel Company vacation package between September 1st. through November 25 will receive one "The Nightmare Before Christmas" three inch Vinylmation Figure.

Guests can redeem their vouchers at the World of Disney store located in the Downtown Disney District.
