Disney Chairman and CEO Bob Iger recently announced a new goal for The Walt Disney Company to hire an additional 1,000 veterans over the next two years through its Heroes Work Here initiative. Former Disneyland Resort President George A. Kalogridis participated in a ceremony last week which awarded 59 Central Florida organizations and school districts more than $1.5 million today as part of the Disney Helping Kids Shine grants program.

On April 1 Disney continues its Limited Time Magic marketing promotion by unveiling the newest Year of the Ear hat designs. At Walt Disney World the Strawberry Ear Hat will be available and at Disneyland Resort the Cozy Cone hat will become available.

Disneyland will be playing host to a special display of the actual set piece for the Hall of Armor in the upcoming IRON MAN 3. The fun setpiece, complete with the various incarnations of Iron Man's suits was on display last year at San Diego Comic-Con as you can see in the image here.
To be located on the second floor of Innoventions at Disneyland, the Iron Man Tech Presented by Stark Industries display will be available beginning April 13.

On Monday, NFTYSqrt ventured out on this beautiful Spring Day to check out the Limited Time Magic happening for Spring Fling around the Disneyland Resort. Over at Disneyland guests could meet the Easter Bunny and learn the Bunny Hop with Roger Rabbit. Also, the Star Trader has reopened with classic arcade games.

I found all of the new Beautifully Disney products to be exceptionally high quality. In particular, the eye-shadow palette performed very well, and it's actually at a lower price point than other well-known products from major brands.
