Hong Kong Disneyland Resort is relaunching the popular Star Guest Program with expanded offerings and a new “Star Princess Tour.” Magical moments include special access to VIP-only character greetings and priority entrance to some of the park's most popular shows.

From March 15 to May 20, Guests will be able to partake in the program with Star Recognition Packs that allow them to access the special VIP experiences around the park. Packages are available in various price points offering access to different amenities.

From January 13 to February 5, 2012, Hong Kong Disneyland will be celebrating the start of the Year of the Dragon. A of wide range of seasonal programs will be offered including the Rhythm of Life: Dragon Procession which combines the contemporary and traditional styles of Chinese culture.

Of course, Mushu, from Mulan, will also be awaiting Guests and serve as this year's ambassador for the celebration. You can meet him on the Lucky Trail, which will feature eight scenic locations throughout the Park, with Disney characters in their new Chinese New Year costumes waiting at each to bestow good fortune upon all.

Special food offerings will also be available as well as a smartphone-based scavenger hunt experience (think Gowalla with the collectible badges) allowing guests to visit different parts of the country and park to collect 8 special Fai Chuns for luck.

The opening of Toy Story Land marks a key milestone for the Resort, concluding the first phase of its expansion project. (Hong Kong, November 3, 2011) – The first themed area to be completed in the expansion project, Toy Story Land officially opens at Hong Kong Disneyland Resort on November 18, 2011; all over the Resort and throughout the Hong Kong community, it’ll be playtime! With just two weeks until the grand opening, Cast Members are all geared up to bring Guests of all ages and cultures into the magical world of toys. Preparation is not just underway in the Resort itself – the magic of Toy Story will be spreading to hotspots all over the city as the Resort launches its largest marketing and sales promotional campaign to date.

Hong Kong Disneyland permeates every pathway of the Park. Every Thursday through Sunday night during September 22 to October 31, as well as October 4 and 31 is the vengeful Headless Horseman, on a rampage, searching for the fiend who took his head. Ghoulish souls and nocturnal creatures are also lurking in the “Cursed Jungle”, awaiting Guests to trespass on their territory.
