Although this isn't the first we see of Dusty the single-prop plane from the upcoming PLANES, it IS the first image to be released by Disney for the theatrical release of the film. Disney unveiled the first ever piece of concept art for the new film at the D23 Expo in 2011 when it was originally simply going to be a home release on Blu-ray and DVD.
