Recently we posted about the limited engagement of MULAN at the El Capitan Theater in Hollywood and this past weekend we were invited to enjoy a BREAKFAST WITH MULAN prior to a screening of the film.

The verdict? It's a strange thing to see a movie and not be hungry for popcorn because you're so stuffed with Mickey Waffles and sausage!

We had a great time and got to say hello to Mulan so if you're a fan of the film and are looking to see it on a big beautiful digital screen then you should probably find your way to the El Capitan now through March 6. If you want to have the Breakfast with Mulan, you'll need to plan out a Saturday or Sunday during the engagement as it's only offered weekends.

This past Friday night, the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood played host once again to Peter Pan with a special live panel featuring people involved with the film. Leonard Maltin moderated a panel with Kathryn Beaumont (voice of Wendy and Alice in Wonderland), Margaret Kerry (live-action reference model for Tinker Bell), and Ted Thomas (documentarian and son of Frank Thomas who animated Captain Hook).

It was a special evening that also included a seemingly mis-matched yet relevant never-before-seen-before screening of an episode of Jake and the Neverland Pirates as well as a live appearance by Jake himself. Once that was concluded, the beautifully restored film was presented on the giant silver screen; perhaps clearer, brighter, and more vivid than ever before.
