    Today, Disney Interactive has announced the first round of Disney Infinity Power Discs, that will be on sale when the game launches August 18th.The Circular Power Discs grant characters special power ups that can be used in both Play Set and Toy Box modes. Hexagonal Power Discs unlock special gadgets, vehicles and themes to allow for even more personalization and customization opportunities within Toy Box mode. Players can stack up to two Circular Power Discs or up to three Hexagonal Power Discs to optimize all the add-ons. There will also be three rare discs, designated with a special lenticular design.

    Starting at launch, the power discs will be available in blind packs of two for $4.99, making these collectable and tradable discs, a must have to enhance your Disney Infinity experience. Below is the full list of the Power Discs and additional information on Disney Infinity.

    Disney Interactive launched Sugar Rush, based on Disney’s animated film Wreck-it Ralph, for the new Leap Motion platform which lets users control their computers like never before using natural hand and finger movements.

    Using the Leap Motion controller’s innovative 3D motion control and sensing technology, players can create their own kart or choose one of 10 candy creations and race it through four tracks on the Sugar Rush Speedway.

    Sugar Rush is now available for $1.99 in the Airspace Store for Leap Motion.

    Today over at Club Penguin, Star Wars has hit the island. While battling to save the galaxy, Club Penguin members can dress up in costumes inspired by their favorite Star Wars characters like C-3PO, Chewbacca, Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Princess Leia and Darth Vader. In the three-week-long event, there will be more penguin costumes than any previous party, as well as three new mini games. In the Star Wars Takeover Event players can embark on a galactic adventure that’s out of this world.

    Today Disney Interactive unveiled an in-depth look at the game creations and unexpected options you can make in Disney Infinity's Toy Box Mode. Within the Game Creation trailer, you’ll get a chance to see the types of worlds players can create, even those reminiscent of some of the most recognizable games of all time. Players can also create sports-themed games such as boxing matches, football games and street races. The Unexpected Pairings trailer showcases the wacky scenarios that are possible within the Toy Box mode, like what happens when Buzz Lightyear and his alien friends encounter Davy Jones on an island? Or what happens when Woody and the Lone Ranger go head to head in a goo blaster showdown?

    How do you take a beloved 24-year-old NES game and update it for today's gamers while doing your best not to ruin anyone's childhood? At a special panel yesterday at San Diego Comic Con 2013, some of the guys from video game publisher WAYFORWARD talked about how they worked their hardest to avoid just that predicament for Duck Tales Remastered.

    Giving a top-line behind the scenes look was Austin Ivansmith (director/designer), Matt Bozon (creative director), and Rey Jimenez (Capcom producer), Eric Bauza (voice actor), and Jake Kaufman (music composer) for an in-depth look at how a great video game is made -- from design, to art, to music, and more. Followed by a Q&A session, plus maybe a surprise or two.

    As part of the DUCK TALES REMASTERED panel today at Comic Con, WayForard's Music Composer Jake Kaufman performed live on piano the newly composed Moon theme for the upcoming video game. The one in the video game is slightly different obviously but is the direction for the new updated version of the theme that will play in the end credits of the game.

    Today, Disney Interactive is unveiling an in-depth look into the Incredibles Play Set in Disney Infinity with all new character images, action screenshots and a gameplay trailer featuring both Play Set and Toy Box modes.

    Within the Incredibles Play Set, gamers can take on the role of any of the “Super Family,” including Mr. Incredible, Mrs. Incredible, Dash and Violet as they try to combat Syndrome and his evil minions in Metroville.

    The Incredibles is one of the play sets available in the Disney Infinity starter pack that will be available on August 18, along with Monsters University and Pirates of the Caribbean play sets.
