Last week, Disney Interactive provided in-depth look into the Pirates of the Caribbean Play Set within Disney Infinity through an all new set of character images, action screenshots and a gameplay trailer featuring both Play Set and Toy Box modes.

Pirates of the Caribbean will be part of the title’s starter pack that is launching on August 18, along with The Incredibles and Monsters University.

Disney Interactive has recently released the second video in its behind-the-scenes "Creating Infinity" series. The new video focuses on the inspiration behind Disney Infinity's "Toy Box" mode, and includes interviews with Pixar and Avalanche Software creative visionaries, as well as commentary from key people including John Lasseter and John Blackburn.

Disney Infinity hits store shelves in August.

Earlier this month, DISNEY INFINITY launched a special look at its TOY BOX MODE which is a fun side version of the game that is not focused on story but is more of a free-for-all. This video gives you a look at how you can truly mix and match your favorite Disney worlds like never before.

In the game, you can unlock virtual toys from each Play Set including characters, buildings, weapons, gadgets and more and bring them into the Toy Box where you can mix them all up to create your own game.

Disney Interactive announced today an exclusive partnership with Nintendo to release DISNEY PLANES - THE VIDEO GAME. Releasing a few days before the film, the video game expands the story of the film (which opens August 9), and lets players roll, turn and loop their way through airborne adventures.

DISNEY PLANES - THE VIDEO GAME will be available on August 6 exclusively for Nintendo platforms including the Wii™ and Wii U™ systems as well as the Nintendo 3DS™ and Nintendo DS™

Jonn Lasseter, John Blackburn, Jason Katz feature in this new 'Creating DISNEY INFINITY' docu-series which delves into the inspiration behind DISNEY INFINITY. In the clip we see CG renderings, video clips, and behind the scenes views for the making of the game.

The game hits stores this August in time for the holiday season.

Disney Interactive recently announced that Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX will be coming soon this fall. The 1.5 ReMIX is an HD compilation of the original Kingdom Hearts (the FINAL MIX version) and Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories. The game also includes gorgeous HD cinematics from Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days and for the first time ever, will be available on PlayStation 3.

The popular game guides you through classic Disney stories including Aladdin, Alice in Wonderland, Pinocchio, and The Nightmare Before Christmas.
