I was going to post some concept art, but I can't find any.
(Editing Note: Carsland is rumored to be located in the current Timon Parking Lot at the Disneyland Resort)

I think the one I'm most looking forward to is the Tire ride. But everything going in there is going to be really cool.

Yesterday I was able to hear a panel discussion by Imagineers at a conference I was attending and Carsland was a big feature. Lots of deatails and pictures were shared. Radiator Springs is supposed to be a sequel to the movie. The experiences in the land will not include the Cars characters, except in the attractions. Mater is supposed to be leading a square-dance calling out moves from his shed. And Radiator Springs Racers is going to be AMAZING. Great story inside followed by a race outside. The concept art told the story well. I can't wait!!!!

Luigi's will be a shop at the exit of RSR. Flo's V8 Cafe will be a food location. There will be shade trees, unlike the movie, and they are actually doing studies to see how shade trees will add to or hurt the show. I have so much respect for what Imagineers do. The nine I saw yesterday made me want to just watch them work. What talented people.

    Sounds great, except:

Will there be no end to the gift shops at the exit of E-Tickets?

Don't get me wrong. A Luigi's gift shop sounds really cool. Just not at the exit of a ride.
Yes, our world has indeed become a world of motion. We have engineered marvels that take us swiftly over land and sea, through the air, and into space itself. And still bolder and better ideas are yet to come. Ideas that will fulfill our age old dream to be free. Free in mind. Free in spirit. Free to follow the distant star of our ancestors to a brighter tomorrow. - World of Motion (1982-1996)

    Potential spoiler follows:

The story inside the show building, based on what was shown in the presentation, includes an encounter with Mack, Mater and a tractor tipping scene, then being chased by the big red harvester (I forgot his name), Radiator Springs at night with Sally, getting a paint job and tire replacement before lining up to drag race like that scene from Cars where McQueen and Sally go for that drive together. There appears to be a water splash area too.

Really there were just a few concept pieces that I hadn't seen before. The narrative of the story was explained by the Imagineer.

Things can change, but they were all excited about their trip down Route 66 they were taking in a couple weeks with Pixar and they sounded like they wanted to break ground tomorrow!

What really wrong with that though?

I kind of know how you feel, but its not like they force you to buy stuff.
