I wonder if they will just be able to remove the ears and then repaint the inside of the main circle to match the sun colors.

The Sun Wheel's re-theming project is supposed to begin in September and be finished by the time peak winter season hits. Same with California Screamin's queue. I assume that with Screamin's queue down for re-theming, it would be a good time as any to add the Paradise Pier sign and the sun icon to the loop.

It was part of the press release last year. I'm pretty sure MasterGracey has a (bigger) picture of what it will look like in his DCA Project Tracker thread, but I can't find it.

Cool job on the composite! Personally, I kinda don't like the sun in the loop. I'd rather just have the PP sign.
