Now.. before we start acting like Disney is building around some sacred burial grounds attempting not to disrupt the spirits and cause a Poltergeist type incident - they built the whole bloody park on what WAS a relatively nice parking lot.

They chose to put World of Color where it is in the lagoon - it does not take up the entire lagoon and there has not been a good reason presented for why it was not relocated so that the projectors could be integrated into the structures around the outside of the lagoon. Yes, projectors have limits but they don't choose where the projection screen is - a designer does that. Apparently, a talentless hack of one who is obsessed with technology and using it for spectacle then for a cohesive and attractive show.

Lest we not be presented with the umpteenth version of that same stupid scene from Pocahontas that no one but that one designer really gives a crap about in the first place. I don't know what it is about leaves and her hair but by golly we're gonna linger there and watch it on a water screen at as many Disney resorts as humanly possible.

If that's the final location then someone deserves to get fired. That's bad design.

The sacred lot was destroyed by the ugly faces at Disney for a lame-ass park. I honestly think the projectors are placed there for the BEST visual show results and what have you. That is if that IS there final location. I'm sure a relocation of them would and could possibly cost MORE money. They're spending over a billion dollars to do these updates, I'm sure anymore money to be spent on things that are not in their plan in the first place are less than welcomed by the management.

If you realize its called paradise bay, so by the storyline the lighthouses couldve keept ships from crashing into a 160ft ferris wheel during the foggy mornings or off hours of the pier.

But they're not light houses. They have no lights on them, they're roofs!

Went to the parks today, and the buildings actually do not look very bad in person. IMHO

I'll see them on October 9th... so I wonder how much further along they'll be by then.
