I personally find it silly that a company can't make a dozen projectors. What kind of professional projector company can't provide something like that? It's not like we were talking about 100 projectors here. If Disney couldn't get them from that company, there are probably a half dozen other companies that could provide essentially identical projectors for a comparable price.

As for it delaying WoC... We've seen photos of projectors on the WoC site, if I recall, and they're still now hooking up hoses, nozzles, wires, fixing the platform, etc. These are all things that could have been done already if they wanted the schedule to proceed faster so that when the projectors were ready, they could just pop them in and everything else would be done. In other words, if the projectors were "late," that wouldn't stop them from working on other elements to finish them up, and then just sliding the projector in when it was time.

Oh, and I don't recall hearing anything from any sources that back up that info about the dragon. What I thought they said is that there were mechanical problems with the lift mechanism due to the weight of the dragon, not problems due to a missing part. Missing parts can be machined or replaced in a matter of a week or less, not something that would cause a delay of months.

Of course, all of that's just based on what I've read from other supposed insider sources, so take your pick what to believe. I have no more detailed knowledge on any of this than anyone else.

I've heard from a few different sources that the neck had snapped during testing due to a filmsy or missing part. We should start a conspiracy theory thread.

So I'm still not totally clear in understanding the viewing area's center most pier arch area. So below that area is a stage area? It has a big space below the surface and looks like it is "detached" from the rest of the pier/viewing structure. Is that supposed to elevate for other kinds of shows like Tommorowland Terrace?
    With this ring...

I didn't see anything in the concept art at Blue Sky Cellar or in the construction from last week.

Not much is really known about the stage. Only that it was "planning ahead" on WDI's part for possibly band concerts or the like in the future. It looks like it will rise up so whatever is going on on the stage will be elevated and easy to see. I know in the past they had one of the New Year's Eve dance parties there. So it's possible to be used for things like that.
