I love Pocahontas and whenever I go camping in the High Sierras I think of her, and I like water like bellagio, perfect match!

The Alice card animation at 2:35 (and on) looks meh. I see no difference between these projections and the projections in Fantasmic.

The projection in use for WoC is clearer and crisper than anything else I've ever seen as far as this type of effect. These videos don't show it well, but none from the back will; projection on water is always done so that the water is between audience and projector. Front projection on water does very little.

Of course, the show also has multiple projection surfaces which can be used alone or in combination. The rear 12 projectors have three mist screens, one movable, and 42 fan sprays, all of them movable; the 380' rear screen is actually the fans, but any number of these can be combined with one or more of the flat mist screens. The front has more fans and another mist screen, and the movable rear center screen can tilt forward, and the center projector cabinet can tilt back, to project up from under the forward-tilted screen. Moving Whips can be projection surfaces too, and the Fan Whips that can rotate could, with careful projection, be used to spectacular effect: imagine a flat fan, showing an image, flipping 180 degrees and appearing to reveal a different image on the other side! Whips' straight jets can sweep around and leave projected image in their misty wake. The possibilities here are endless!

Wow those videos look amazing. I am seeing how this is show is coming together. It took me a while to wrap my head around how they were going to tell a story through all water but now I see how wonderful this is truly going to be. I can not wait!

Not that this is exactly new news but the DisneyFiles magazine has reconfirmed a few different points about the show. Some snippets...
The 25-minute production seamlessly weave stories from a broad range of Disney and Pixar worlds, including (in no particular order) Toy Story, Alice in Wonderland, Pocahontas, The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, Hercules, Wall-E, The Lion King, The Hunghback of Notre Dame, Fantasia, Fantasia 2000, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Beauty and the Beast, Finding Nemo, and Princess and the Frog...

Artists have scanned original drawings from classic films, created brand new sequences and separated elements into layers to create an effect made famous by Walt Disney's groundbreaking multi-plane camera...

World of Color [is] scheduled to run almost every night, with multiple performances on peak nights... the best vantage point will be Paradise Park...

Stick around for special encores at the end of each show.

As a sidenote to the movies included... Steve Davison I believe also mentioned at D23 that they were toying around with a Rapunzel piece for the show and that they really wanted to be able to make the show flexible so that they could swap out pieces and include newer pieces and keep the show fresh and ever-changing. Then again we did hear the same about the Monsters Inc doors and Toy Story Midway Mania so we'll see... Once DCA begins to really start celebrating the holidays, they'll really have a lot of little touches to tout.
