^ Sorry, I didn't make myself very clear. There was supposed to be a few dozen individual fan nozzles that would make up a giant wall of water about 380' long by 40' high that could be used as a projection surface, and it would stretch all along the backside of the platform. I've yet to see any actual testing footage of this, though....only a few brief shots of it during the day. That's why I was curious if they were making any progress with it.

I'm still not seeing physical objects or representations of objects... I'm seeing fountains dancing to music...

Almost a year or so ago, I said that if this show turned out to be really nothing more than fountains dancing to music, it would be a failure...

Are they still having problems with the butterfly fountains?

They definitely do have the whale-cresting-the-water-made-out-of-fountains during the Nemo segment (this was demonstrated in animation form at the D23 presentation, and can be seen in one of the recent vids taken from the PPH). Other than that, I haven't seen any visual confirmation of other things along those lines, but I'm sure that they exist within the show.

Wow, just amazing how some can be so negative without seeing the final product. Maybe there are problems with the special fountains still. Why not get the rest of the show going while you work on the special fountains along the way. Then they can be included when they are ready. Even so, those fountains are meant to be viewed from the viewing area. So if some of the specialty fountains were being used, you may not even be able to recognize what they were from the side or back views that have been posted.

Even just going by those videos, it looks very impressive. No one has gotten the fire effects being used yet either. Still a lot of the show not in the few testing videos that have been posted. Patience is a wonderful thing!

I wouldn't be worried about that. Not all aspects of the show are going to be caught in short, grainy, poor quality youtube videos (and that's probably how they prefer it...considering I'm sure they want to keep the greatest elements a complete secret until the show premieres).

Yes, that the 400 foot wall of water is still happening. There are 42 V-Fan nozzles along the back, and like 20 more along the front of the platform.

You guys have to remember that we've only really seen a tiny fraction of the testing on youtube. Just because we haven't seen it online doesn't mean it isn't the show. There are still a lot of effects that haven't been captured on video.
