A friend just posted about seeing WOC tonight at an Imagineering preview. He loved it.

Midway Mania and Mulholland Madness will stay open during the show but everything else in the pier will close.

So found out tonight those lyrics are for the opening of the show. The "blue rolling sea" line is accompanied by a flash of Ariel and the "red summer rose" is a flash of Beauty and the Beast.

The 3 times I have been to Disneyland (2003, 2005 and 2007) I have truly been amazed by people camping out for up to 3 hours so they can have their spot for Fantasmic.

Must this be done? I had decent spot on first trip. Sitting on small wall of some small rectangular area. DL CM's had some kids get off the lower portion but not us others higher on it. There was a light pole though. So some blockage.Had to get to this spot 90 min. before show. (From what I had heard and info on here etc. knew I had to try earlier than planned (45 min - 1 hour)

Had a decent spot on trip 2 but woman came in and got partly in front of me because she was part of small family that was there already.

Trip 3, well never got a good spot. Tried to see show from near some tree more over towards Haunted Mansion side. Watched a while but overheard a man and his young son who had not seen the show before talking and being a nice guy who had seen it there at DL 2 times (sort of) and several times at DHS told the guy and his son they could have my spot just look through the trees.

Made their day and mine too. Can't remember where they were from though.

Why can't there be a better system so everyone gets equal chance?
If you live there you have several opportunites to see it. So why camp out 3 hours just to have this spot or that? Let some of us out of town travelers have an equal shot thats all I'm asking.

I'm afraid the same thing will happen now with WOC.

So that means we can't video record World of Color when it opens for public? Of course, I may know the answer to that. Do your worst.
