From everything i've seen posted the majority of those opposed are the people who buy an AP and then spend as little as possible in the parks on food/bev or anything. Like seriously some of them go 4 times a month but then spend less then $20 in the parks. That's an extreme, but many of the other complainers aren't far off - they don't eat at sit down restaurants, don't buy merch, and visit pretty frequently.
It's why since introducing the cheaper AP programs DLR's per-guest-spending has sunk like a stone.
I don't mind the idea of people having a cheap AP or being thrifty in general, but it's when you're the lowest paying customer and expecting to get things catered to your preferences that bugs me. Free-for-all caters to someone who comes 4 times a month so they don't miss out on anything if they camp out for hours nibbling on snacks they brought from home.
If the crowd levels die down and DCA returns to its normal attendance patterns then it makes sense to phase out FP and picnic meals. I think they'd still keep the dining packages - those are very profitable for them.
DLR has held out for a while from becoming a "resort" that caters to multi-day guests rather then daytrippers. Most of what is being complained about is par for the course at WDW, so it's like DLR is finally behaving like a resort.

Oh, and take this little tidbit as a telling sign of the difference between how the two resorts groom their guests: A big complaint among WDW AP's is the inability to get dining reservations at popular restaurants due to demand from the dining packages given to resort guests.
I think that speaks volumes of the difference in mindset.

Ok KNRG, look, if you want to complain about how trashy the Disneyland Resort is due to annual passholders, can you take it to a thread devoted to it? Stop spamming the WoC thread with it eh?

It's a discussion and it's relevant to the discussion at hand. "This thread is for reviews!" "This thread is just for WoC!"
It's amazing the lengths people will goto to get rid of an idea they don't want to hear.
The conversations on this forum have never stuck strictly to the topic and meandered because it's a relatively small forum. Invoking any rules to keep things strictly on topic is just an abuse to forward an agenda as it's NEVER applied to any other discussions on this forum.
For that matter, would you like to go back and delete every off-topic comment you've made in this thread and others? You're applying a double standard in a thin guise to try and hide something you don't agree with.

For reference:
Pg #119 of this thread for Posts 1181-1190.
A random sampling, and only 2 of the posts are tangentially related to WoC and they're discussing Disney's environmentalism in the project but moreso focused on the environmentalism then the show itself.
It's not spam, just something you don't agree with.

I'm on the "We get the point. Lets move on" cart here, KNRG. Can we talk about how pretty the fountains are instead?
So there.

Ok, 8000 viewers.. and i'm gonna save the rest for seeing it in person.
So, yesterday's show was to film it.. interesting. Note how in the wide shots the viewing area is empty.. and the Pogo video bit was to transition from live to pre-filmed. Hence the fireworks launches last night..
