    WOC lagoon during the day...

    Just a quick question...

During the construction the water jets have been visable all day. Now that the show is up and running have they raised the water level so they can't be seen during the day?

I thought that they submerge the platform, not raise the water level.
Which way is it? Anyway, wondering if the jets are hidden during day also.

There is so much that I think they have not revealed yet. Feeling there could be holiday versions like Halloween & Christmas down the road. Feel that the Chernabog could be fixed and used in future. I have only seen some short videos of the show but feel it is a great show that could be added to ("plused") for even more enjoyment in future.

There certainly is a feeling that something is missing in the Bald Mountain sequence...they did a pretty good job patching the show though.

I have a question.. my husband and I are going on Sunday and hoping to see World of Color. What time do you all think I should get there in order to get the fastpasses or purchase the picnic meals? I attempted to do it online, but by the time I got all logged in and everything, the meals weren't available anymore!

Anywho, if anyone has an idea, that would be great! We plan on getting there around 2:00 pm, but we weren't sure if that would be too late to get the fastpass or purchase the picnic meal?

    Thanks!

2 pm is pushing it. I would say no later than 10 am. Apparently they handed out wristbands this morning for those that wanted to purchase the "walk-up" picnic meals and they were all gone by 10 am.

But! That's just my opinion and observation.

Definitely get there at opening. Also, I believe picnics are sold out through Wednesday. You might still be able to do dinner rezzie, though.

Small note - the duo that hosts the Carnivale of Color are live mics, not prerecorded, though the puppets are and essentially cued when needed. The silly banter between the hosts is nice, it's scripted but loose enough that they react to the crowd and each other.

I was there last night and we didn't see the show but 30 mins till we walked back there and it was horrrendous, crowd control was horrible, no ride on the pier was open even midwaymania, the shops might have been closing, but once you get to the zephyr they make you turn right around instead of taking you through to the other side. Come on Disney, crowd control always seems to be very bad. The worse part was glow fest, the dancers were awkward and it attracted some strange people.

Hmmm. How is the view from the boardwalk? We probably won't make it in time to get fastpasses- we go often enough that a in a 12-hour day, we'd probably run out of things to do..
