I'd also like to restate, that regardless of position 'anglewise' in the viewing area... I was 2 bodies back from the front of the water... and seeing the often prevalent water level effects was downright difficult to impossible. If I have to constantly shift around in all directions to try and see what's going on... well... yeah. Horrible, horrible design.

Well thats kinda the point, the show is way to large and overstimulating for you to see it once, they want you to keep coming again.
“Around here, however, we don’t look backwards for very long. We keep moving forward, opening up new doors and doing new things… and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths.”

The point is that there are about 10,000 people a day who want to see the show, but only about 2,000 can get a decent view of it. Everyone else has to watch it from a crappy angle and miss out on 85% of the effects.
    So there.

A helpful hint if you get the Red section again:

If you choose to view it from the boardwalk (technically the "wet" zone) they do not enforce the colored sections. Therefore, you can walk along the boardwalk all the way to the far left side of the viewing area and have a spectacular view and not get as wet as being on the boardwalk by the Red section.

    Try that next time.

Does someone have a map of the viewing area with the red section highlighted? What area exactly is in question?

Everybody’s got a laughing place. Trouble is, most folks won’t take the time to go look for it. And where it is for one, it mightn’t be for another.

But how do you end up on the boardwalk in the first place?
