true but then there is also the problem with not enough tables in that area for three eateries.

They should consider a temporary corn dog place like the one on mainstreet. Maybe they could put it near the old burger invasion road. The lines for the corn dog castle have been huge these past few weekends

^ Indeed, the new Lucky Fortune Cookery opens in September.

Glad to hear that! Chinese is my favorite and although the Cookery didn't have great Chinese food, it was at least available. Maybe one day a nice sit down Chinese restaurant in a revitalized San Francisco portion of the park...

By the way, I am heading to a particular Asian resort tomorrow, so pray for safe passage. I'll be gone two weeks. (But my Insights blog will be auto updated while I am gone!)

I think D23 released something that said that corn dogs will now become available in bountiful valley farms in response to the temporary closing of corn dog castle

They should just tear out that crappy farm and put in a restaurant.

^They are tearing out a lot of it for the Mater ride. All that will really be left is the path back into FFF, and I think that is suppose to be much more richly landscaped.

I could be wrong but that's what I anticipate. I hope to be pleasantly surprised but either way it should be a fun attraction in a place were it will fill a good gap missing for the park right now.

When Mermaid opens the Pier will be one of the most magical places
    in the entire park.

Soooo, if the parks do decide to turn to more projections... will this mean they will begin to add 3D into the mix.

i think TLM will be good if they add animations. similar to nemo, the fluidity of underwater characters was captured well. AA's are often limited to capturing full qualities of the characters they represent just because of basic AA limitations (with exceptions of hopper from "it's tough to be a bug" and the yeti from EE). In Nemo's case, i think they went with more projections because space was already limited, and a sub ride will have obvious limitations. with TLM, wdi will find a great balance, to deliver a much beloved story and anticipated ride.

I disagree, I understand why the choice was made on Nemo, but in the case of TLM I think it would be a big mistake to render most of the characters in video. This however doesn't mean I would have a problem with some use of projection for backgrounds, minor characters, effects, and possibly minor scenes or interludes between major scenes. I hope this is the way that they choose to use them and the major characters are all AA's.
