I agree, I definitely wouldn't be broken up if the Fair went away. I just worry if they take this approach, they make make it so that land in the back of the park will never be used. It's a huge amount of space that just sits wasted, like so many areas of the MK.

Get ready to watch the Golden Dreams building be torn down starting July 15! Will be curious to see if they will put up scaffolding and a tarp to try and hide most of the work, or just let it be seen half demo'd, ala the Horizons building at Epcot? Naturally that building was just a bit too big to try and hide..

Nope, I meant July 15. They just informed CMs of the new dates for stuff to begin. Just like when Dino Jack was to begin demo on June 29, he ended up getting his head knocked off about 4 days early. The dates always change. Would not surprise me if the July 15 date changes, either earlier or later. But that is what is down as the start date right now.

Are they ripping down the whole thing, or will they just gut it and leave the skeleton? It seems like the construction on the steel framing should be recent enough to reuse that, depending on the size constraints.

I guess in the end it's possible that it would just be more feasible (and cheaper in terms of labor) to tear down most of the building and build from scratch.

I think it would be nice if the clams were all different colors. That way there is some variety.

^Yep! I geeked out a little bit when I saw it, haha. That photo also has some sketches on that back wall from the Part of Your World portion of the ride...
