the new Paradise Pier is certainly going to blow us all away when it is completed. it's amazing how cosmetic changes can create such a new atmosphere.... case in point: Fantasyland '83.

Ahh good eye. I believe you're right -- the white tower is on the other side of the walkway, whereas the Hot Dog Hut is on the water's edge. Still, I wonder if it will be built -- I would imagine if that white tower is built, that entire area will need to be closed off, and the Hot Dog Hut's close proximity to it would probably require it to be closed off too, and I doubt operations would be very happy with having to close a brand new ODV set-up just to build some new theming elements. I suppose only time will tell.
I believe they are, but info has been kind of vague -- anybody know for sure if the Games of the Boardwalk and the shops will be getting re-themed while the Sun Wheel is closed? It would make sense to close that entire area for construction, but I don't know if they're planning on actually doing it.

i like it, ismael!!!!! the things we do at 330 in the morning.
so looking at the comparisons... that is where the shops currently are, not the games, which i was thinking that whole strip was just games. and that makes me believe that the large, ornate brown building isn't going to house games, but either a new shop, restaurant, or attraction (i still think that housing a double decker carousel in there would be very cool). i would like to see some sort of arch underneath the screamin' walkway connecting the two sides.Once a year we love to drop inWhere the beer is never stoppinFor the chance to pop some popinjayAnd pick a king who'll put the "top" inTopsy Turvy Day!

To be honest, it is almost too bad screamin is there, to me it stands out a lot from the buildings.
