    Al's New Update

Two months go by and this is all we get? Lame. Seriously lame. We've been getting tons more stuff from Blue Sky than Miceage. Another update like this and I'm removing my bookmark, Mr. Lutz.

It was pretty bad.. Not really much new info at all. Only new tidbit I found interesting was the new, "massive" parking structure going in the Pumbaa lot to open by 2012. This may have been known already, but it's the first I've heard of it.

How big is "massive" I wonder? Bigger than the other one?

I doubt it would be that big, just probably as big as the Pumbaa lot is now except with levels.
Yes, our world has indeed become a world of motion. We have engineered marvels that take us swiftly over land and sea, through the air, and into space itself. And still bolder and better ideas are yet to come. Ideas that will fulfill our age old dream to be free. Free in mind. Free in spirit. Free to follow the distant star of our ancestors to a brighter tomorrow. - World of Motion (1982-1996)

what i found interesting is that the article had so much non-info in regards to the marketing of Toy Story Midway Mania. Some people still insist that it is a conspiracy that the media is using the generic resort logo (which by the way was designed so that the word resort is a certain percentage of the word Disneyland) and not DCA's name.

I wonder why we did not get an article about the commercials and advertising that also mentions nothing about DHS and uses the WDW logo.

As for the monorail I sure hope they get the problems solved. Its such a shame that those sleek monorails are just for show.

I am at work but maybe someone could get an aerial map and superimpose the Mickey and friends parking structure over the pumba lot to see how much of it actually fits in that property. I really doubt they will go higher than the first structure. They have certain height limits

You would think originally a simple open window design with non-removable heavy-duty window screens would have been more favorable then what they came up with. It looks like two inches or less of airflow coming through those windows.

What's most upsetting to me, is other than the monorail drama and the House of the Future exhibit, there are no new attractions for Disneyland anytime soon. It's a small world? Yes, it will be clean, gorgeous and have a few new characters, but come on, it's still the same attraction. A new parade for the 55th? Big deal. New pavement for Main Street. Wow. Where's a new E-ticket attraction?!

I wanna know how good the picture quality is when they use HD projectors. It sounds like it's going to be crystal clear, but we'll see.
