A Bug's Land for sure. That place is one giant waste of valuable space. Frankly, the kiddies already have plenty to do without that lame, inane, farce of land within DCA! Tear it down and replace it with another monsterous E-Ticket!!!!!!!!!

I like the film, but not a great fan of the land and think its time will eventually come to disappear. A Bug's Land now fits very incongruously between Hollywood and Carsland and as the park's attraction count grows it would be easy to see ABL including Tough to Be a Bug getting swallowed up by something else.

I'm the inverse. Not a big fan of the film but I love the land. It's well thought out, well themed, and it's cohesive. Plus, I think all kids imagine what it would be like to be that size, this land does just that. I love it.
To that point, I've always liked Bugs Land but used to hate that you could see TOT from it but the other day as we were walking through it really did feel like bugs land was like a garden in front of TOT.
I think if Heimlich's was extended with an indoor portion with some AAs or other clever bit that it would give the land another strong anchor to prove its worth. As is though, I think the land is great.Joey AKA "dlfreak"

I'm addicted to Disneyland. Disneyland hobbies are expensive. If I become a bum people are going to say "Don't give him money, he's just gonna use it on Disneyland."

While a bugs land has some great theming I would love to see it replaced with something else. They did not do a great job of incorporating Flick's into the farm theme and now with the farm gone it has no connection to the California theme whatsoever. At least with the farm there was some sort of transition.
Also the rides are just okay and they have added so many kiddie things since to make up for the lack of them when DCA opened.
Space is so limited and there are so many better things that could be done with the space. We could have an area that is just as well themed, but has better rides and connects to the California theme.

It may be well themed, but the attractions (not counting the 3D movie) are very sub par.
That whole space in general could (IMO should) be torn out and replaced with something better.
It may look good, but it's really just a giant waste of space. Outside of seeing the 3D movie, I have no need, or want, to spend more than 5 minutes there. Well themed? Yes. Worth while? No. Disney should replace this area with a new land or attraction that will really pull people in and make them want to visit the park. Sure, they've already got those types of attractions, but the more of them there are, the better.
By the way, without A Bug's Land, kids would still have:
Aladdin Musical
Monster's Inc. attraction
World of Color
Playhouse Disney
Challange Trail
Golden Zephyr
Anamantion Academy
Character Close Up
Muppet Vision 3D
Games of the Boardwalk
Turtle Talk with Crush
Jumpin' Jellyfish
Puddle Park
King Triton's Carousel of the Sea
Toy Story Midway Mania
Ariel Under Sea Adventure
Cars Land (with two kid friendly attractions)
Need I go on? I think the little ones would do just fine without A Bug's Land.
Exactly!

lost in the grass and shrubs
We love "a bug's land" The feeling of being so small and having an adventure lost in the grass and shrubs is really fun, it is a magical feeling. Is this not what the Disney magic is all about? When I was a kid I would make tramways out of a cracker box and use thread spools for the for the cable run, and boats from milk cartons, and other stuff like elevators from sour cream containers and then I would imagine my self ridding in them. It all comes back to me in "a bug's land". Heimlich is one of the funniest.

Well thats a nice list....yet most of those are shows...of that there are only a couple rides and one of those still has a height requirement (Jumpin Jelly Fish). How many kids (ages 3-8) want to go just to see Alladin...is that why you went to Disneyland as a kid, to see shows??? Yes, I am speaking as a mom of 4 kids (ages 14, 11, 7, 3) I know what there is for my kids to do. Why take away a whole land just to create 1 ride for big people?? Just giving you a little bit more to think about!
I miss Animazement!!!

That whole area wouldn't necessaily need to be replaced by one giant attraction. That was just one of my ideas. It could also be replaced by a new land; take that San Francisco-land idea that was floating around within WDI HQ for example. They could theme it equally as detailed as A Bug's Land and really bring out the flavor of retro-SanFran while at the same time putting the Disney spin on it. They'd just need to add much better attractions for everyone to enjoy.
My whole gripe with A Bug's Land is that the current attractions there are majorly lacking and space is indeed limited. I want Disney to really go all out every chance they get and make the most of things. Sure, A Bug's Land may be cute for little kids, but there are so many other things that could go there that would be much better and fun for the whole family across the entire spectrum of tastes.
Ride/games-only list (no shows):
Monster's Inc. attraction
Golden Zephyr
Games of the Boardwalk
Jumpin' Jellyfish
King Triton's Carousel of the Sea
Toy Story Midway Mania
Ariel Under Sea Adventure
Cars Land (with two kid friendly attractions)
That's still a nice chunk of stuff little kids can partake in. The shows are just the cherry on top.
I have a 6 year old niece and a 7 year old cousin, both of whom are just fine riding some of the bigger rides. To be honest, I can't think of a single time they turned down a ride they were tall enough for, and I've never seen them cry from an attraction. A Bug's Land for them isn't their paradise just because they are little. They enjoy it all. I'm sure they wouldn't think twice about A Bug's Land going away and the whole area being overhauled and upgraded.
