I've always felt DCA is great, but the Hollywood area was weak. The Red Cars will be nice theming, but they still need more attractions, not just theming

The Hollywood area will soon suffer even more once they turn it into a real Hollywood street. Once this area is turned into a real Hollywood street, how will they play on the backlot theme? The idea of having the once side of the street be a fake facade worked when the whole area was a studio backlot.... but it wont work once the area is supposed to be a real street with Redcars going down it.

Agreed. The entire land will need some major remodeling again. The store fronts along the street are half-done, but the stucco show buildings still loom above them and need to be themed or covered up. The Hyperion facade has GOT TO GO and the "Hollywood Studios" area that confused the theme even more would need to be be done once again unless they play that off as a real studio that is right off of Hollywood and Sunset Blvd.

It'll be interesting to see what they keep if and when they ever get around to modifying the Hollywood area. The stucoo building part towering over everything has got to be the part I'm most afraid they won't change. It's a glaring problem but I'm trying to think of a similarly designed street that Disney's done before with that level of detail that high up (Disneyland's tomorrowland is pretty darn bland and unpainted above its murals).
I figure the Studios area will stay as is because the studio theme will make it easy to share rides with the other studios park and they probably arn't ready to move Monsters Inc and maybe even Muppets when they get around to remodeling that area.
I still hope that they can take elements that have worked for the main Hollywood Blvd street and transplant them over into the Studios park (like the false continuation would be a great entrance to Monsters Inc over the current deal we have).
I think I'd prefer Animation keep it's whimsical facade though, I suppose because it's a very beautiful reimaginearing of Disney's real animation studios (which actually look blander in comparison)
what REALLY needs to happen though is for Sunset Blvd to become a real street, Hyperion needs a lobby and that lobby should have an outside that really adds to the feeling of the street, maybe a REAL facade on the side of Animation building as well.
I'm curious to see how the transition path to Bugsland will work once it's made permanent but I'm not holding out hope for the sunset blvd theme to be continued on the way down to Carsland."We all have sparks, imagination... it's how our minds... create creations..."
