Well if it must be three stops I think Animation/Off the page is the best spot, its a good fork point and about equidistant from start and end.

and its close enough to attractions for the stop to be desirable to guests .

I don't think Disney is going to resist the allure of a scenic stop near the attractionless Carthey lol. Too bad WoC fastpass isn't inside the theater, I'll bet that building would be REAL crowded then.

When does the Carthay begin major work?

Because the idea was to have a Walt museum in there - or it was once upon a time - and the current Walt museum in DHS is going through a major rehab this fall.

An initial blue sky idea was a Walt museum. The idea is a great one, moving the Walt Disney Story from Opera House into Carthay but then that leaves Mr. Lincoln with not a lot to draw in guests. I suppose the entire existing area could be relinquished to the Disney Gallery.

As of now, however, I believe Carthay is just being built as a shell for something to come in the future.

Honestly, I wouldn't mind a little museum of CA history and the Disney 'story'. Actually showing his early years, when/why he came to CA, what he did, and how he then started Disney...

Ya know, not the story of the Disney company we all know and love, but of Walt Disney before the company started. Seems like a divide between the two would be about right. Show Disney of the Disney company in Disneyland, but then pre-Disney Disney in DCA.

Yeah, not sure if this makes sense. Call it "California Dreaming: The Walt Disney Story" or some cheesy thing like that.

The "Line 98" card on the schematic lists the four stations. I also noticed on the schematic (assuming that's the current plan), show that the bases of the pillars of the entrance to Hollywood Pictures Backlot are still there. So looks like the pillared archway entrance stays? I'd guess the lettering would change to say "Hollywoodland" instead
    With this ring...

^Good eye. It says that third stop is "Hollywood Land" so I'm guessing it probably is at the that switch off point near Off the Page. Assuming of course, again, that it hasn't been CUT. Unless the map is actually OLDER not newer and the third stop is a NEW addition.

    A) Am I the only one who sees how bad the paint job looks on the Hollywood sign lately?

    B) The Disney Story is itty-bitty compared to One Man's Dream so i feel it's entirely feasible to have a full exhibit in the Carthay and leave the other alone.
