so if they started construction of buena vista street the end of this year, would they need 2 1/2 years to do construction? it seems like a very long time. it would be great if they could have it finished by christmas season 2010. that would be about 2 years from now.

2 1/2 years is an awfull long time. I would think it needs 1-1 1/2 years of construction.

It only took three years for DCA to be created. So how come it would take that long to remodel such a small section of that park?

Just a realitcy check... you're comparing building DCA's original Boardwalk, SunShine Plaza, and Bountiful Valley Farm (among other simple/cheap structures) to Carsland... Based solely on concept art for Carsland, I can see the need for different, longer, timelines.
