Won't they have like a newstand area or something? I'm not too worried, they'll always have the big empty Carthy theater
I do agree with how surprisingly big the entrance is, even walking through it I feel like its small then get amazed how easily everything fits through (Epcot feels more pincered). I can't wait to see how it all comes together and makes the environment in the hub change.
Golden Gate Bridge is the thing I can't wait to see taken down but my spidey sense tells me thats probably the one to stick around the longest.
The new Turnstiles or whatever should make it harder to see so far into the hub too which I also like since it will also increase the sense of size the park has and add to the mystery.

One of the rumor threads on WDWmagic suggests that Carousel of Progress is slated to return to DLR in DCA. While no one believes the rumor, some people like the idea. As there seems to be no appropriate place for CoP in DCA, someone mentioned that the "early Disney" theme to the entire entryway would be a perfect spot for CoP, with adjustments to the current show, in the Cathay Circle Theatre.
John and I had a good laugh, and then stopped short and looked at each other, as if it could be a great idea.

That sounds bizarre. If they bring it back I hope they do a better job of updating the "present" than WDW. I'd never seen the show when we went a few years ago and when we got to the "present" I honestly thought this was a presentation of the 1980s and that there'd be one more rotation.

I don't believe it.
The only way I could see it happening is if a couple of the 1920's AA's end up in some sort of display in Buena Vista Street, sort of like the Statue of Liberty display at DLP.store! characters! downloads! eeeemail...

wow, it would be a cool show to have in the Carthey, they could return it to its original parameters even. I don't think there's room for it in that building though?
Wouldn't care for it much anywhere else in the park though."We all have sparks, imagination... it's how our minds... create creations..."

This will go into Carthay right after Country Bears go into Grizzly.

They should do a live-action version of COP.Joey AKA "dlfreak"

lol pretty much, honestly think the cheapest option for an attraction in the Carthay would be Golden Dreams in a smaller theater. Which really wouldn't be a bad option for an attraction that sits pretty much int the entrance area of the park. But even thats underlikely.
Not really sure WHAT they wanna do with that area, could sit empty for a while."We all have sparks, imagination... it's how our minds... create creations..."

A Carthay Circle theater with no attraction inside it is still better than the Sun Icon.
There is always still hope for a future expansion.
